The inhabitants told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Maiduguri on Tuesday that the pattern was wild in the current circumstances and if left unchecked, it would turn into a standard in the general public.
Mr Bashir Shuwa, an inhabitant of 707 quarters in Maiduguri said that anal sex was presently taken a middle stage in the town.
He said "Recent events in Maiduguri have brought to the fore some disturbing trends that is afflicting several neighbourhoods, who helplessly watch their wards being lured into anal sex. This unpleasant tendency should not be allowed to remain unchecked if we want to live in a decent and tolerable society, where standard ethical norms are being obeyed by all."
Abdulkadir, a politician, underlined the need to prevent this awful practice from being spread to guiltless youngsters by the individuals who supported it.
Responding, Mr Abdullahi Ibrahim, the Borno Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) said the pattern was valid and extremely exasperating.
Abdullahi said two weeks prior, the charge captured a man who utilized an electric heater to smolder his anus buttocks because he was taking part in gay activities.
