One Of Nigeria's Best Selling Authors, Mrs. Buchi Emecheta Dies At 72
Nigerian writer, author and Novelist, Florence Onyebuchi "Buchi" Emecheta has passed on. Late Emecheta is a top rated writer of more than 20 books including, "The Joys of Motherhood", Second-Class Citizen, The Bride Price, and numerous more.The Slave Girl.
She kicked the bucket on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in London, England where she's lived the greater part of her life.
Affirming her passing, 'the present leader of Association of Nigerian Authors, ANA, Denja Abdullahi said the demise was a major misfortune to the Nigerian artistic world. Abdullahi said Emecheta would everlastingly be associated with championing the motivation of the young lady youngster through her works.
"We have lost an uncommon jewel in this field. Her works would always live to represent her. It is a miserable misfortune to our circle and we ask that God would give the family the determination to hold up under the misfortune. She was known for championing the female sexual orientation and we would always miss her" he said.
