An Australian lady had her hair burned and confront darkened after battery-fueled earphones she had in her ears detonated mid-flight from Beijing to Melbourne, transport specialists said on Wednesday.

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) said in an announcement that in regards to two hours into the flight, the traveler, who was tuning in to music while dozing, heard a blast on her face.
She then tossed her earphones to the floor.
The lady was cited as saying in the announcement that "they were starting and had little measures of flame.The ATSB said that travelers on board persevered through the resemble dissolved plastic, consumed hardware and consumed hair.
The department did not specify which organization had made the earphones but rather said the episode represented a more extensive hazard with battery-fueled gadgets on flights.
