A statement by Rufus Bature, Secretary to the State Government, said:
“The late Samuel Galadima was part of the state executive council members participating in the regular forth-nightly physical exercise at the Jos Township Stadium when he slumped and was rushed to the Plateau State Specialist Hospital where he was confirmed dead. Due to this tragic loss, the governor has declared three days of mourning beginning from today (Wednesday) to Friday, March 24. He has also suspended all public functions during this period.”
