The two best female tennis players go haed-to-head in the battle for the Grand Slam Cup
The 2017 Australian Open just achieved an intriguing peak! Venus and Serena Williams will now meet in the Grand Slam last for the ninth time after the American sisters got through their semi-finals in Melbourne.
Venus beat kindred American Coco Vandeweghe 6-7 (3-7) 6-2 6-3 to contact her first significant last since 2009 while Serena saw off Mirjana Lucic-Baroni 6-2 6-1 in the second semi-last.
For Serena, she'll be endeavoring to win an Open-period record 23rd Grand Slam singles title while Venus wants to win an eighth significant title, first in Melbourne and first since Wimbledon in 2008

At the semi-final post-match conference, Serena said Lucic-Baroni inspires her with what she achieved in 2017 after the two met in 1998 as teenagers. Serena believes that whichever sister wins on Saturday, they have won because of what both have gone through in their careers.
